Angela C. Denney, LMSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Michigan. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the Organization of Latino Social Workers (OLASW), and serves as the Vice President of the Latino Alumni of Michigan State University (LAMSU). She is skilled in both Clinical and Medical social work with considerable experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy services. Drawing from multiple theoretical frameworks, she helps clients to identify maladaptive cognitive and interpersonal patterns, explore how these patterns are problematic, and develop and practice new, more adaptive responses in future interactions with self and others. Areas of special interest for her include depression, anxiety, childhood trauma/abuse, eating disorders, culturally competent practice, acute and chronic illness, and grief and loss.
