Mark Cannizzaro, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist for the State of Michigan. He specializes in children/adolescents/adults and families. He is also quite successful with abuse/neglect issues, custody cases, and couples counseling. Garnering experience from both inpatient and outpatient settings, he has learned to engage even treatment resistant children/families and has utilized out of the box interventions like sports psychology to elicit communications. Working from a primarly cognitive/behavioral and structural family therapy framework, he has been successful at helping others improve/cope with the symptoms of such diagnoses as Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
