David L. Brown, Ph.D., has been a fully Licensed Psychologist since 1982. He is currently President of Lansing Psychological Associates. Dr. Brown works with a full range of clients. He has a background that includes working with juvenile offenders at the Ingham County Juvenile Court. He works with children, adolescents and adults. He also does family and marital therapy. His approach is eclectic in nature, but focuses on cognitive and learned aspects of behavior with emphasis on how self-esteem affects a persons' adjustment to life situations. Dr. Brown has a special interest in adult children of alcoholics and individuals who have been raised in dysfunctional families. He also deals with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is experienced in dealing with adults and children with Aspergers.
